Primary Automobile Third Party Liability is mandatory in British Columbia that are on a public road. This primary $200,000 of Third Party Legal Liability must be purchased from an Autoplan agent providing insurance for the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) In addition to the required $200,000 legal liability, ICBC provides optional coverages relating to all aspects of Auto Insurance such as :

• Fleet plan options for five or more vehicles, which may provide a higher claims free discount
• Storage policies for vehicles not in use and off a public road

Private Insurance

Most optional coverages, such as collision, comprehensive and increased third party liability, can be obtained through private insurance companies. Private insurers such as Intact Insurance and Family Insurance offer optional coverages for terms different than ICBC. Depending on the vehicle make, model and year, as well as the driver(s) of a vehicle, we can provide a competative quote for your optional insurance coverages.
